Trauma Therapist in Houston, Texas | Attachment-Focused Therapy for Adults

Hi there, I’m Juliana

After spending a decade in the Austin Hill Country, I am back in my home base of the Houston area, practicing as a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and serving adults all across Texas and Colorado through telehealth therapy. Over the last ten years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds and environments as they navigated through their mental health journeys. I became fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in June 2022 and have continued to shape my work as a relational, attachment-focused trauma therapist.

I am specialty trained in Brainspotting (BSP), a powerful trauma therapy that supports deep processing by accessing how trauma is held in the body and nervous system, integrating elements of Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is also anticipated for 2026 as an additional treatment option (currently in development).

As human beings, we are innately wired for connection, making relationships central to emotional healing. Our relationships—past and present—shape how we see ourselves, regulate emotions, and relate to others in more ways than we realize. Through emotionally attuned, authentic relationships, healing becomes possible for the psychological wounds that can leave people feeling stuck, disconnected, or unseen.

As a trauma therapist based in Houston, Texas, I specialize in working with adults impacted by complex trauma (C-PTSD), disrupted attachment, and narcissistic abuse. Many people seek therapy while experiencing emotional dysregulation, chronic self-doubt, hypervigilance, avoidance, or difficulty trusting themselves or others. These patterns often stem from prolonged relational trauma and can deeply affect identity, safety, boundaries, and a sense of belonging. Listening to your story is only part of the process — I want to hear you through your lens. You are the expert on your life, and your thoughts, feelings, and experiences deserve space and a voice.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. I integrate humanistic, relational, cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic frameworks, tailoring therapy to each person. At times, sessions may feel more guided and direct; at other times, more open and reflective. Whether you need accountability, structure, or a soft place to land, we regularly check in on what feels helpful and what does not. Therapy is a holistic investment—you set the pace as I walk alongside you, supporting your mental remodel – reshaping patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses - in a way that feels empowering and sustainable. Your past does not define you and change IS possible, at any age and any stage. Healing is not only about facing your pain; it also includes noticing growth and the good along the way…It's a pure joy to celebrate your wins in this life, big or small. All parts of you are welcome here, and I will always be rooting for you.
